I agree. I don't like the fact that when you open Wallet > Apple Card, the Apple Savings account balance is displayed right there for anyone close by to see and target you. It's a Savings Account! Same for Checking Account. Do you share/view your Checking or Savings Account Statements in public? And if I recall (it's been many years) ATM's and receipts don't show/print balance unless requested. Comments like; "Why hide your balance", "It's your iPhone, "Only you can unlock it",...etc" are unhelpful, irrelevant, and not the point. The point is it shouldn't be readily visible as it is. Also, it doesn't show when using it w/ Apple Pay. Regardless, it should be moved/hidden or offer option to do so. Obviously, Touch/Face ID is required to make actual payment, but it would be an extra layer of comfort if it was required to open Apple Wallet > Apple Card > Apple Savings for whatever reason. It's called privacy. And it should be up to the user.
