left shift key types a letter

I'm using a 2017 imac with ios Ventura 13.3.1.

The left shift key types a 'Q' whenever engaged, and the enter key turns off the volume when it's engaged. What's going on and how do I fix this?

Apple Magic Keyboard acting weird I recently bought a new iMac and when I use my magic keyboard it types on its own and keeps entering the last key I pressed multiple times plus it is delayed in its response. I have switched to another magic board on the same computer and it is doing the same thing but working fine on my other computer. Please help!

Sounds like the Keyboard is giving up, buy test with another KB or Sys Settings>Keyboard>Text for substitutions.
