Nope. My iPhone has been backing up fine. The Wall Street Journal tech reporter had an article on how to protect our Apple IDs in case our phone gets stolen by setting a Screen Time password so our info couldn't be changed without an additional PW. It caused my iCloud access to become greyed out. All I had to do was deactivate the Screen Time and I had access again. Thanks for replying!

Hey edyrp,

We'd be happy to help out. Sounds like you're having an issue creating an iCloud backup on your iPhone. To get started, make sure you're meeting all of the requirements and following these steps best equipped to assist:

1. Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.
2. Go to Settings > [your name], and tap iCloud.
iPhone showing the screen at Settings [your name]. iCloud is selected.
3. Tap iCloud Backup.
4. Tap Back Up Now. Stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process ends. Under Back Up Now, you'll see the date and time of your last backup. If you get an alert that you don't have enough iCloud storage space to complete the backup, follow the onscreen steps to upgrade your iCloud storage.
An iPhone showing the screen at Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. The iCloud Backup toggle is turned on.

This is all outlined further here: How to back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud - Apple Support

We hope this helps out!
