Hello, I have been having problems with CarPlay on my Nissan Rogue where when you are on a call via CarPlay (so handsfree) when the car is in motion, the voice on the other end crackles. If you stop at a light or pull over, the crackling stops. This is very annoying. Any idea of how to fix this? Everything on my phone (iPhone 12)is up to date and I am using an Apple connector cord.

As it doesn't occur when the vehicle is stopped, the cable and iPhone appear to be working properly and software is not affecting the audio. The most likely explanations then are that the vehicle moving is creating interference or that feedback or electrical signals are produced when in motion that are finding their way into the radio/speakers/USB port your iPhone is connected to.
If you can pair the iPhone using Bluetooth to your vehicle and test call audio, that may help narrow the scope to the radio or speakers if not duplicated. Consulting your vehicle manufacturer may be appropriate.
