Cisco AnyConnect Errors: The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot.

Using iMac with Ventura 13.3.1 (a), after a restart of the OS I can no longer connect to Cisco AnyConnect.


Finding lots of people complaining about this and no proper answer. Issue might be with Cisco or Mac, but can't tell at this moment. Anybody has a solution!?

Are you using the VPN to connect to your employer, bank or school? If not the the following is food for thought:


Unless you're using a true VPN tunnel, such as between you and your employer's, school's or bank's servers, they provide false security from a privacy standpoint.  Read these articles:  Pubic VPN's are anything but public and Security Risks: The Dangers of Using Free VPNs (eccu.edu).  


And they can interfere with system and application performance, both overtly and subtly.
