MacBook Air m2

My MacBook Air m2 has been a really good machine and I am pleased. I was cleaning it and noticed a weird discoloration on the bottom side and it looks like the vents in my protector are just imprinted. Has anyone had this problem and what can you do to fix it?

I don't know what kind of protector you have but it might be heat related. I suggest you remove the protector while using your Mac so air can circulate around it thus cooling it. The protector or case can be reinstalled after you are finished using it.

Thank you or the photo.

Seems to be Heat Abrasion:

So, from here on out, place it atop a laptop cooler. That is how I have allayed used my Mac, and, as a result, I have never had this issue. This I what I use; you should consider doing the same: Targus 17 inch Dual Fan Lap Chill Mat - Soft Neoprene Laptop Cooling Pad, Heat Protection Laptop Cooler, Dual-fan Heat Dispersion, USB-A Connection Laptop Fan - Targus
