Airdrop greyed out in Control Center and not visible in Settings>>General

Hi, I am not able to view the Airdrop option in Settings>>General. Also when I tried to access from Control center, it is greyed out with Receiving off option. I have gone thru the multiple approaches of restarting, content&privacy settings (Airdrop turned on), but still no luck. Can someone please help me on this!
