MacBook keeps asking me to approve iPhone for iCloud

Hello! I have MacBook AIR and iPhone 13 Pro for over a year. In the last week my Mac incessantly asks me with a notification in the upper right to "Approve Anat's iPhone"? This iPhone wants to use your iCloud account."

I've tried everything including logging out and in of iCloud on the iPhone in the settings and in browsers. It keeps happening. It's really annoying!

How can I make it stop?

Hi ANATAIZ,

First you'll want to make sure you're running the latest macOS version available for your Mac. You can learn how to update here:

"Use Software Update

Before following these steps, it's a good idea to back up your Mac.

  1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Settings or System Preferences.

If you chose System Settings, click General on the left side of the window. Then click Software Update on the right.

If you chose System Preferences, click Software Update in the window.

2. Software Update then checks for new software.

If Software Update finds new software, click the button to install it. The button might be named Update Now, Upgrade Now, Install Now, or Restart Now, for example. You might then be asked to enter your administrator password.

If Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then no new software is currently available for your Mac model. Software Update shows only software that is compatible with your Mac."

Thanks,

I updated the software and also waited a few days and I still get this alert every few hours. I've had the computer for over a year and it's never happened to me, I didn't touch the settings and the only thing I did was turn on iCloud synchronization for the computer's photos as well, and then turn it off. Other than that I didn't touch anything everything as always, and both my devices both the computer and the iPhone are connected to the same iCloud account.

Thank you
