i am starting to dislike mac.

all links to setting closed laptop come here and this has nothing to do with using the macbook pro in closed laptop with a docking station. so disappointed in whatever has f'up my settings

Apple does not want you to be less than satisfied with your Apple purchase, so they have a great policy for resolving problems like yours.

Provided you bought DIRECT from Apple, and not from a Reseller, you may return the unit for a full value refund or exchange if you don't like it or it does not suit you for any reason.

That return/echange window is good for 14 days from receipt.

I've had this macbook pro for a few years. I bought a Brydge doc station because i like a 30" screen work use when stationairy at home, and my set up works just fine, until mackbook pro is shut down. I have to eject the laptop from the docking station, sign in, then connect to the peripherals, then I can put back in the docking station and it will eventually work have a moment of liking being back in the docking station. i do not have this issue with my windows pc from a shutdown to restart in it's docking station. Apple products I noticed are going downhill. I will not invest $3k again. I will do a $500 windows laptop.
