Can't delete the Caches from my MacBook Air

Hi, team. I have been facing one issue that, recently I deleted caches from my MacBook Air, but when I want to delete it also from the trash folder it can't be deleted, it says "operation can't be completed, because the caches folder is in use" I also tried to delete it in the Safe Mode but the problem is still happening, what should I do?

If you're unable to delete a folder because it's currently in use, there are a few possible solutions you can try:

1. Restart your computer: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can release any locked files or processes that might be preventing you from deleting the folder.

2. Close any open applications: Make sure that you've closed all running applications and processes, as they could be accessing files within the caches folder.

3. Use the Terminal: You can try deleting the folder using the Terminal application. To do this, open the Terminal app from your Applications > Utilities folder, and type in the following command:

sudo rm -rf ~/.cache

This command will delete the caches folder and all of its contents. Be careful when using the Terminal, as entering the wrong command can have unintended consequences.

Hope it helps!

Thank you for the screenshot.

Clearing Caches:

Backup your Mac to an external hard drive, and then restore your Mac from the backup you've just created. Report back if that does the trick.

My suggestion is that the Caches folder is still in use and needs to be returned where it came from, presumably in Library. You can delete items from the folder, but not the whole thing. To be honest, I find that Mac OS is pretty good at clearing caches without much effort on the part of the user. It can be useful to clear the browser cache in Safari by enabling the Develop menu in Settings->Advanced.
