i changed my yahoo email password and now my iphone won't refresh

In such a situation, I would try this workaround:

Delete your yahoo email account from your Apple Mail app (Settings>Mail>Accounts) on your iPhone.
When done, restart your iPhone.
Re-add your yahoo email account in your Apple Mail app, using the new password.
