New Apple One family plan

My daughters have been paying for iCloud storage which gets charged to my account. I recently purchased the Apple One plan and they are listed as family members, however I’m still getting charged for their storage. Do they have to do something in settings on their phones?

You will need to share the storage as described in the "Share iCloud+ with everyone in your family" ofShare iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support

and if they currently have an upgraded storage plan (i.e., not the free 5GB plan), they will need to switch as described in the "Switch from your personal iCloud+ plan to your family plan" section of that same support article.
