I seem to lack enough MacOS Ventura knowledge to be able to create a keyboard shortcut to activate the Finder command "Share..."/"Add To Photos". Can someone please guide me through the process?

You can't do that with a Finder contextual menu Share… menu item that launches a separate floating Window. You might as well continue to use it as designed with a right-click Finder selection on an image.
There is no Shortcuts or Automator Photos action that does what the Finder's Share… -> Add to Photos does. Either of the automation solutions require that you explicitly configure where in Photos that image is to be added.
You could make an Automator Quick Action that imports the file into Photos
You can do something similar with Shortcuts, but you can only add a file to an album, not just import it into the Library.
You could make an album where you import, and then go in later and manage them.
Apple engineers do not participate in these user supported communities. Send a feature request directly to the macOS product team. As Automator is not a strategic product for Apple, your feedback will likely be sent to the Shortcuts team (who do not have their own feedback link yet).
I see. So there's no automation possible to "Add To Photos" an image directly by simply selecting it and using a keyboard shortcut?

Yes. Just add it to the App Shortcuts. Use whatever name you give the Quick Action as the menu command.
