How to install YouTube and Facebook on iOS 12.5.7

If you ever had Facebook or Instagram installed, then most likely it's on your list of purchases. When you head to the Facebook's lodge on the App Store you tap the download icon (the cloud with the down-pointing arrow). Since the minimum supported version is higher then you may be offered to download the last compatible version for your device. The most recent version for iOS 12.5.7 is still working as expected. I'm claiming that with confidence since I upgraded from iOS 12.4 to iOS 15.8 four days ago.

And you won't be able to if you own an iPhone 6 or older iPhone. These apps require an iPhone which can run a higher level iOS version. So if you do own an iPhone 6 or older and you want these apps, then you have to buy a newer, more modern iPhone.

If you do, it means you have a legacy version, installed long ago. For someone who is on 12.5.7 who does not have Facebook on their iPhone however, they won't find it available for 12.5.7 any longer.

You can't. Your phone is too old and cannot run the minimum required iOS version to support Facebook. You should be able to use the built in mail app for yahoo mail however. If you want the Yahoo Mail App, you can't install that either, as again, your iPhone is simply too old too support it.

It is time to buy a newer, more modern iPhone at this point if these apps are important to you.

Apple and Facebook authority can make an app for older IOS Version. which already provided in android version as Facebook lite youtube lite etc. at this time ip5-6 users try to app by log in another Apple ID. I think it is Very risky for users. when I phone launch a Model they think Users Security. but after some years stop their all support and users go Log in another cloud or third party something could be. and fallen various types of risk. its means after some years apple dont think about their security? i think this monopoly can destry any type of Giant company. there various types of real example available in various country. so apple needs to take a step to solve this problem

Apple doesn't make the Facebook app. Meta (Facebook) does.

You are free to go and ask Meta to (re-)release a Facebook app for older versions of iOS – if you can find a way to contact them. I doubt if they will oblige, but they are the ones you need to convince if you want it to happen.

There is no “how to”. It cannot be done and it never will be possible. You can probably use both YouTube and FB in a web browser but you cannot use the apps without a phone that run the minimum required software version.

But if you are using an outdated iPhone or iPad for which iOS 12.5.7 is the end of the line, you will not be downloading the current FaceBook app on that iPhone or iPad. If you have one of those iPhones or iPads, your device is incapable of running the current FaceBook app.
