Hello ebuka130,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want to help you get connected to your iCloud account. If you're experiencing sign in issues with iCloud, then we recommend you review and follow the steps listed in this resource here: If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud - Apple Support

You did mention there was a "connect to server" error. Make sure that you're using a strong reliable Wi-Fi network. If you're using an iPhone, you might want to also test this issue using your cellular network. If you're using a VPN, you can turn it off. VPNs can sometimes interfere with Apple's services: Check VPN (Virtual Private Network) and third-party software to help resolve network connectivity issues - Apple Support

If you still have issues, you can even try refreshing your communication settings by resetting your Network Settings. Try resetting your Network Settings. On iOS 16, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before. If you're using iCloud Keychain, these settings are also removed from other signed-in devices.

We hope this helps out. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
