Hello, I use to be able to highlight words in the Amazon search box and either press delete or write straight over it. Now when I highlight and hit delete or simply try to write over it the highlight disappears and nothing happens. Any ideas how I can get this function back up?

I understand that when the Amazon search field contains existing text, you can no longer simply select that text and subsequently delete it. And, if you select that text, typing over it no longer replaces it.
