I finished editing my video and it is all rendered but when I went to "share" it, the option was "Grayed" out. This is the first time I've had this happen. I did a quick search, and someone said something about media not being fully imported, but I'm not sure that's my issue, or even how to diagnose. Thank you!
That's not a project. You're inside a sync clip. You've edited into a clip container not into a project. Select everything and copy it. Make a new project Cmd-N to the settings you want and paste everything into it.

I do not. The biggest thing I notice is that there is a crosshatch pattern at the end of the time frame, that I haven't seen before. This is the first time I tried to use the "synchronize clips" function and it seems everything looks different.
Select the project in the browser and click the Share button in the upper right of the FCP window.
