Not getting haptic notification on watch even though it's on. Also, at times, my phone won't chime with notification.

By design, if your iPhone screen is on, notifications come to your iPhone, not your Apple Watch. If your iPhone screen is locked, notifications come to your Apple Watch, not your iPhone. Notifications do not come to both.

I'm searching and other than seeing that I might have to disable wrist detection, will notifications hijack messages/texts? I get the notifications but what I'm seeing is that my watch gets the notification, I open the message and respond. When I go to Messages on my iphone, it won't show the message received, only my response. I have also set the imessage to on but haven't been idle and received a message to test.
Turning off wrist detection won't make a difference. If the message is SMS (from or to someone not on iPhone), it won't sync between iPhone and Apple Watch. If the message is iMessage (between you and another person's iPhone who is signed into iMessage), the message will sync.
Got it. Thank you SO much.
You're very welcome.
