iPhone XS battery replacement, touch unresponsive, new battery draining

Dear Apple,

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service I received from the Apple Store regarding my iPhone XS. I visited the store to replace my battery, as it was draining quickly. However, after the replacement, I noticed that the screen became unresponsive.

When I contacted Apple customer care and the Apple store, they denied any responsibility, and I was asked to replace the screen at a cost of over $300. This was after I had already paid $105 for the battery replacement. The manager at the store accepted to pay back the battery replacement charge, but this did not solve the problem with the screen.

I took my phone to a local repair store, and the technician showed me that the pin was bent during the battery replacement, which caused the screen to break and become unresponsive in different spots. He opened the display in front of me. He also said Apple Service guys do not take responsibility as it would damage their reputation. Now strongly believe they did break my screen and didn't want to help me by taking responsibility. I now have the display with bent pins for my reference. I had to pay additional money to the local repair store to get the screen fixed.

Such an appalling service. I have been buying Apple devices since its launch.

Moreover, even after the battery replacement, my phone's battery is still draining too quickly. Many people have reported similar issues with their iPhone XS batteries. I am disappointed that I had to go through so much trouble and expense to get my phone fixed, and I believe Apple should compensate me for the poor service and the additional expenses incurred.

I hope that you will take this matter seriously and provide me with a satisfactory resolution.

Sincerely,

Harry

"Dear Apple,"

You have posted to a user-to-user site. We are all users....just like you. Apple is not here. No one from Apple will answer your post.

This was made clear in the Terms of Use Agreement for this site.....which you signed......but you apparently missed those details.

Your best bet.....in my opinion.....would be to ask to talk to the manager of the Apple Store that performed your service.

Good luck!
