How do you change the cursor colour on iPhone?

There is an option to change the colour under accessibility options > pointer control but it doesn’t seem to actually change the cursor colour. I changed it to red but as I’m typing this the text cursor colour is still blue.

I’ve had a stroke and really need to change the colour as I can’t see the blue as well as I used to be able to.

Hi animoller,

The cursor color and size adjustment is specifically for the Switch Control or Assistive Touch accessibility feature:

Use Switch Control to navigate your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Use AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you need some more help seeing what's on screen, we might recommend using Zoom and Increase Contrast instead.
