Notes app not saving progress

I have a crazy important exam in a few hours, and I was writing down my final notes to self to keep in mind regarding the material on my Notes app on the latest generation ipad pro… when all of a sudden the app crashes and my note progress was not saved!! Now im stressing out before my exam, why did notes app become unreliable? How can I fix it? Can I get my unsaved summary back?
