I cant change the language of Dr. House to english. under "languages" it does say that it supports english, but when i watch the show i can only change the replay speed and not the language/subtitles (and its currently german). Does someone know how to change it?

If this is about an iTunes Store purchase of a TV show using a German Apple ID account, then it seems that House seasons are available in two language editions, as two different Store items. One for German language, one for original English language. Unfortunately, you can’t change language for this after buying.
If you accidentally purchased the wrong edition, then ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance to undo the incorrect purchase, and redo the correct purchase.
To select the wanted language edition, check for the differences: English vs. German description, Season vs. Staffel, ‘Dr. House’ vs. ‘House, MD’.
