I have a not even a week old iPhone 14 pro max and the microphone is not working on snapchat and instagram. I have restarted my phone, made sure permission was allowed for mic use on the apps and still nothing is working all i hear is white noise when i record a video in these apps, Help!

Since it's only happens in the Instagram and SnapChat apps, have you checked to see if they are up-to-date? If not, follow the steps below to manually update your apps.
1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
Keeps apps up-to-date ensures fixes have been installed. You can also review the steps here: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.
