Leaving Battery Always Plugged In:

Yes. While it is in use, keeping it plugged in is just fine. Where you power it off, unplug it when the charge completes. You'll want to have a 100% power charge. Just know that batteries have a charging cycle, and after so many counts, Apple recommends it is time for a new battery.

  1. Go Here: Determine Battery Cycle Count for Mac Laptops - Apple Support
  2. As it reads: "Your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original charge capacity at its maximum cycle count. For best performance, replace your battery when you reach its maximum cycle count."
