I had the same issue. Tried everything. The only solution you will have available is going to an authorised service centre and getting them replaced, it's an easy process. I got mine replaced after trying everything. Don't waste your time and go to the service centre whenever you face this issue.

I called apple support, looks like the “fix” is replacement.

mine aren’t working either and it seems like many people are having the same issue with no solution because even after doing what they tell you to do so they can be “fixed” they still don’t work so I’m just wondering what apple is going to do i know I did not pay all that money to have a pair of headphones that don’t work in that case I would of kept my 8 dollar Bluetooth earbuds from 5 bellow

Mine were like this but now they fully aren’t in touch with the case, I can’t connect them and the case light doesn’t get affected if I take the buds out of the case or back inside. Plz find a solution apple

I am having the same issue. All of a sudden it plays only when in case and disconnects. Not sure why. Tried everything from resetting to connecting to other device. Utterly disappointed. :(

You should start by writing better drivers so that I don’t need to reset them multiple times in one listening session.
