Discord app fails to load on iPhone 13

I’ve tried everything, I’ve contacted support ten times, Discord just opens, and loads forever, in settings it doesn’t show up as an app in <notifications.

reseting phone and discord, restarting discord and phone and router, factory reset, software update, data vs wifi, new Apple ID and AppStore account, added payment method, changed dns server, NONE of this changed anything, I don’t understand what is wrong.

Settings -> Cellular -> Wi-Fi Assist

This is the setting to turn wifi into WLAN only mode. Once I disabled "Wi-Fi Assist" and then went back to the discord app, then I disabled wifi, went back to discord, then re-enabled wifi and I got presented the login screen, instead of the constant "connecting" screen.

Thanks for the tip Technar!

Hi Snow344,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand the Discord app will stop responding after you open it. This article has some steps that may help: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support.

"1. Close and reopen the app

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it

Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Also, if you have a VPN app installed, you may want to temporarily remove it and its configuration profile to see if the issue persists after doing so. This article explains how: How to delete an app that has a configuration profile on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

We hope this helps.

Take care.

I find it works intermittently. I have not discovered the issue. I have mad my WiFi connection "vanilla" "Private WiFi Address" and "Limit IP address Tracking" under Settings>>WiFi>>"Your_SSID"

I have deleted all the data under Settings>>General>>iPhone Storage>>Discord

I have removed and re-installed the application.

Nothing really fixes it.

I am not sure it is an Apple issue, to be fair.
