Suddenly, my Spectrum(Charter) email, which is my default email on my MacBook, stopped sending and get stuck in the Outbox. I am able to send from my iPhone. I did not make any changes prior to this starting.

With computers; things happen. I suggest you completely remove the offending Mac mail account and recreate it from scratch.
