I’m really struggling that my new Apple Watch isn’t recording my exercise activity.

I’m having a problem with my brand new watch as it’s not recording my exercise activity. I’ve gone through several steps in the settings and re-calibrated and it’s still not working so the whole reason why I purchased this watch was because the last watch wasn’t recording my activity, but that one was from a long time ago so I didn’t have a problem buying a new watch, but I don’t want one that isn’t working for my needs. I am trying to record my exercise activity and this watch Has only recorded the activity one day.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
