Does the OEM A2251 Apple Macbook Pro 13" topcase part also contain a microphone?
Exactly what the question asks. I recently had the top case replaced and the microphone works, but is very static laden.

If by Top Case Assembly you mean the part with the Palmrest, Keyboard, Trackpad, Battery, and possibly Touchbar & Speakers. Yes, this part also contains the built-in microphone on Retina model Apple Intel laptops.
If you mean the Display Assembly...then no as that only includes the built-in Camera.
