FCPX - A/V PLAYBACK

hello all, my name is Carlo, I have a problem with FCPX. When I select A/V to send the movie to the second
monitor, a window opens with the movie on the imac pro that I can't even close. I installed Macos Ventura.
Before with Macos Monterey this didn't happen, the movie went regularly on the second monitor. In preferences/playback, the second monitor is selected. Can someone please give me a suggestion?
thank you so much Carlo

iMac Pro, macOS 13.2

I suppose you are talking about Window->AV Output

What is selected in Preferences for AV Output? You should see the name of your external monitor there. Is this monitor set to 1080p or 4K in System Preferences?

If all is correct but still you get this weird behavior:

1) try deleting FCP preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an “Untitled” library.

Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

2) Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here.

Use the “additional text” button and paste the report into the text box.
