Drive has stopped responding. An error has prevented this application from working properly. Help Apple improve its products by sending us diagnostic and usage information about Drive.

This seems to be a new bug for Apple iCloud Drive.

I told them I wanted it named after me.

Step 1:

Genius Bar suggested I wipe the Memory and reinstall.

I did ... No luck, Same Problem.

(They all enjoyed taking pictures of the I Cloud Drive Error Message and discord on the screen flashing from Error Message, to I Drive repeatedly).

We accessed my iCloud Drive on several different computers.

Same error message. So, the issue is not the local hardware.

They also suggested I report it to Apple Customer Support.

I did, and was upgraded to a more senior consultant who did not have a clue on how to address.

She mind-melded with my computer and witnessed for herself the unknown phenomena of an Apple ICloud Disk Crash / Error / The Rare site of an Apple Product not working properly.

She tried to explain it off as my MacBook being older (2015). God Forbid I did not have the most recent MacBook!

She really had nothing to say and did not provide any case number or way to follow up.

Apple, you are free to send me a new MacBook if that will help ease the pain I brought to your doorstep.

The Error Event occurred for 5 days straight. It started working properly on the 6th day.

My Humble opinion. I somehow uploaded too much information into my 2T iCloud Drive Account in too short a period of time? I believe the iCloud Drive needed time to process and put back in place the files in the proper places.

The Apple iCloud software just needed time to get it's *h** in order and get to work on my files.

Nothing was lost, except 5 days of non access to my work files.

The age of the computer hardware had no effect on the cause or resolution of the Error.

Thank You Apple, you still have my permission to name this iCloud Drive Bug after me!
