Language of Emails

Why am I getting emails from Apple in French, my Apple ID is setup as ENGLISH.

It sounds like you've followed the correct steps as explained in this article: Change the language on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.


"You can change the language setting on your iPhone or iPad if it's incorrect or if you've accidentally changed the language to one you don't understand.


  1. Open the Settings app

2. Tap General

3. Select Language & Region

4. Tap Add Language

5. Select your language 

6. Select your primary language

An alert will ask you which language you want to use as your primary language. After your device updates the language, your device automatically displays the language you selected."
