Has anyone else gotten a battery replacement from Batteries Plus?

Has anyone else gotten a battery replacement from Batteries Plus? After I got it replaced, the settings message indicated that it could not verify that it was a genuine Apple battery could not evaluate the battery health. I’m still losing power too fast,

From reading some feedback regarding batteries plus, I can only assume that I screwed myself by getting a NON apple battery replacement on my phone. I have been trying to update the IOS 17 and it just doesn't do it.

What If I had a apple battery put back in would I be ok? Or am i reading this correctly that apple wont touch my phone? And worse than that my phone is worthless on a trade-in now and its in really good condition. I have an 12 Pro Max

Biggest mistake I ever made getting a battery from Batteries Plus for my iphone. My phone never updated again, crashes and when you want to trade it in, the $450 trade-in value now just went down a boat load. I should of just went to apple for another battery. To boot I paid over $130 for the battery plus battery non-apple certified.

Batteries Plus should advise iphone customers of the consequences of using their after market batteries. In this complex world of ours no one can be expected to know all the rules. If BP knows their batteries won't work like Apple batteries, they should should advise the public in order to be truthful in selling their alternate product.

Apple does not seem to have a repair shop in my city, a repair shop that is authorized to replace an iphone battery. It is the state capital of Missouri. Is it a mistake to purchase an iphone in Jefferson City, MO?

No, it's not a mistake to buy an iPhone in any town in the US. Do you have a BestBuy Store near you? If you do, they are an Apple Authorized Seller AND Service Provider.

If you used Apple's locator, you saw that there are 2 authorized shops within 30 miles of Jefferson City. That's what....maybe a 45 minute drive?

Heck, I live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and it takes me 25-30 minutes on a good day to get to an authorized service shop.

With an appointment, you could drop the phone off, go grab some lunch and the phone would be ready to pick up.
