How can I set up a focus on my iPad Pro?

I set up a focus on my iPad Pro, but when it comes to choosing a screen, I cannot click in that field. According to Apples website, they say you can do it on an iPhone or an iPad. The only thing they show is setting it up on an iPhone. Can this be done on an IPad? Thanks for any advice you can offer. I have the latest updates on my iPad.
