Email “IMAP server” error message on iPhone

Why am I seeing an “IMAP server” error message on my iPhone but not on iPad or MacBook?

Can no longer send roadrunner imap email from iphone ios 17.1.1 I can no longer send email on my roadrunner account from my phone- fine in and out from pc, can receive mail, but not send from the phone. RR tech support cannot help, nothing I have found on-line so far helps. I deleted the account from my phone and let ios add it back- again cannot send. Get error message outgoing server mail.twc.com is not responding. Anyone know how to resolve this?

IMAP SMTP login failure I recently purchased an iPhone 11 and since setting it up my Mac (2015 vintage but upgraded from El Capitan to Monterey) will no longer connect with IMAP SMTP servers for Mail. I've changed Apple ID passwords and restarted the Mac but nothing doing. My other Mac's Mail is working fine as is the case for my new iPhone and iPad. Any ideas anyone?

IPhone/iPad Email App with Sky/Yahoo Mail Does anyone have an answer (perhaps from Apple) on the reason for ongoing intermittent problems access Sky (Yahoo hosted) email from the Apple iPhone/iPad email app ? Frequent imap server connection problems when the app fails to connect and download emails or downloads a header only then fails to download the body of an email. Emails seem to download successfully using the web browser or using MS Outlook app on the iPhone or iPad.
