Completely remove deleted apps from m1 macbook app store

I have many apps showing download "cloud" I don't even want to use again. Cannot figure out how to completely remove them from either account I have, one for apple user, another for iTunes. If I download, open, close I can get the "x" to remove it but.....it's still up there. I need to "no cloud" it. Any suggestions?

You can't delete items from your purchase history but you can hide them.

For apps, see this document: Hide purchases from the App Store - Apple Support .

It only mentions hiding apps but according to Apple (as Recommended in: how do i delete an expired subscription - Apple Community ) subscriptions get hidden too.

Thank You but....in my opinion this is wacky. I am seeing apps I have no idea about that were acquired on my Early 2009 Mac Pro, and 2011 MacBook Pro as much as 15 years ago and are not used. Now that I am seeing them on my M1 Pro I'd like to totally delete them. Why I can't totally jettison them appears to be inexplicable to me but, obviously not to Apple. Perhaps there will be a way one day.
