Rapid Security Response login problem: won’t accept previous blank password

I had the latest fast response security update made. Now I hit Enter for blank password att the login screen, as before. But nothing happens. Logon icon shakes as if password is wrong. Restarted several times but no luck… what should I do?

Once I managed to logon with enter only, then retried, problem still there.

Was fiddling around with keyboard language settings to the upper right. But that did not work twice…

I would never advise a blank password.
