My iPad's internet is slow after updating to OS 16

so i recently just updated my ipad to ios 16 i’m pretty sure

and my lights went off a couple days ago, my internet randomly goes to 4 bars and drops to 3 and it’s making my whole ipad slow

lots of my text messages are not delivering until it goes back to the full bar

and i tried restarting it and i’m thinking about resetting the whole thing. it only just started being like this after i updated it .

please help i need a solution and nobody is trying to help me
