The circle keeps spinning on carplay "available cars"

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and a 2016 Hyundai Veloster. I am trying to get Carplay to work. The instructions say go to "Settings" "General" "CarPlay". A list of cars should show up. Instead it just spins and spins and no cars show up. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Anja47

welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

The 2016 Hyundai Veloster is listed as a model than can use CarPlay.

iOS - CarPlay - Available Models - Apple

iOS CarPlay isn’t available in all countries or regions though:

iOS and iPadOS - Feature Availability - Apple

says

"Australia Austria Belgium Brazil Canada Chile China mainland Denmark Finland France Germany Hong Kong India. Ireland. Israel

Italy Japan Malaysia Mexico Netherlands New Zealand Norway Russia Saudi Arabia1 Singapore South Africa South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland Taiwan Thailand. Türkiye United Arab Emirates

United Kingdom. United States"

If you are in one of the above countries:
