Issues with setting up iCloud Mail and wix.com domain

Hi there,

When I am trying to input the MX records provided by apple; I have two and one has a priority figure of ’10’ and the second has a priority figure of ’10’. However, in wix.com if I add another, it generates a priority figure of ’20’ only. As this doesn’t match the iCloud records exactly this doesn’t appear to be working as I have left it over 72 hours and it still hasn’t linked?

There was another post on here that said to input the iCloud SPF and DKIM records into the TXT area (of wix.com) instead of their respective places in wix.com.

As I have been alerted by iCloud.com that “it can take up to 72 hours for your changes to take effect”, it doesn’t fill me with confidence if I have done something incorrectly by only putting in 1/2 MX records (that corresponds exactly to the input area in wix.com.

Sorry if that reads a mouthful, but it’s a bit difficult to explain this succinctly.

One other point is: I chose ‘other’ in the email provider dropdown on wix.com because Apple or iCloud wasn’t listed. I wondered if this might be the issue?

I would be greatly appreciative of any advice. I have ADHD so I’m either down the rabbit hole with things like this, or completely leave them unattended and never completed.
