Unable to export from Photos to LightRoom classic

I hope you can help.

I'm trying to import photos to Lightroom Classic from either iphoto app or photos app and are unable to. My photo libraries don't show up on my external hard drive when I navigate to my external drive from Lightroom Classic.

My external drive looks like this:

However when I navigate to my external hard drive from LRC it looks like this. There are libraries that are greyed out, and the all rest are just missing according to this panel, but they are still located on my hard drive.

Why does this happen?

Also, if I go to file - import photos and video, the same thing happens.

If I go another route, and go to file - plug in extras - import from iphoto library (from my Internal Drive), I get this error message.

I am using an M1 MacBook Pro, 32 gb memory, Monterey Version 12.6.3.
