Password reset request daily

I have reset my Apple ID password several times. But I still get this request daily on my Mac - not on any other devices.

How to reset a password? So lately I’ve been having issues with my account’s password. I went to iforgot.apple.com, did everything they asked, and they told me that they’d send a password reset link. THREE TIMES. And I never got it. May I ask what happened? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hi SeaWolf47,

To clarify, what is the specific message you see on your Mac? It is plausible it is not requesting you to reset your Apple ID password, but rather your Mac specific login password. Especially if you're on an older version of macOS.
