Can someone help me fix my phone? It won’t update to the new IOS16 or reboot and it won’t turn sideways, so I can read or stream.

You'll need to provide some details.
Oh…you asked what apps…. Apps like the Apple TV app and really any of them. They use to work up until about a year ago.😝
I know this is overwhelming, I have so many questions! Maybe I should just call apple customer service?!🤪. Thanks again,

Long-Legged ~ To be clearer, this icon is the Settings app:
...Tap it to open Settings app. Then scroll down to Battery and tap it. Then tap Battery Health and tell us what the Maximum Capacity % is. If its value is only "––", let us know that.

It’s a iPhone 6SE model information:(MHHC3LL/A)—- A2275

i have been trying to update my phone for about a yr now and it has been greyed out. I want to read my phone the long way sometimes and would love to watch a movie from my device. My phone won’t turn sideways. We YouTubed it and followed the directions and had no luck. My account is compromised and I already know this but I want to control my own settings for viewing capabilities. Am I stuck until my/ the administrator, of all my devices lets my have these features?
I know who is the administrator and compromiser is but can’t get him out! He’s doing it remotely from his MacOS Venture! Can you help me with any of my issues with this matter(s)?
Thank you so much,

No, Alancito is not asking about the current level of charge. Did you follow his directions and go to Settings>Battery>Battery Health>Maximum Capacity and look at the percentage there? What does it say?
The model number corresponds to an iPhone SE second generation from 2020. No number "6" in the name at all.
On an iPhone SE, the Apple TV app should rotate while the video it's playing is in full screen.
It will not rotate when in any other view, like the list view or the movie details screen.
With that said, there is no way to remotely control an IPhone. The screen rotation on an iPhone SE is app dependent and some apps simply will not rotate.
If you have turned off rotation lock in Control Center as explained in the link above, then it should rotate when the video is in full screen, and you physically rotate the iPhone.
If you really want to be sure nobody is controlling your iPhone, I would suggest you restore it to factory settings and set it up again. No manner of control, can survive a restore. Also, not entirely sure it's possible to limit the rotation feature in any way.
Beyond that, it would be helpful if you can provide a screen shot of both Control Center, and of the Software Update screen.
Long-Legged ~ Does your iPhone SE 2nd gen. still have its original battery?
And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
Settings > Battery > Battery Health

Yes it’s the original battery! What do u mean the , what’s the maximum capacity percentage here? At the moment I only have 10% because I’ve been on it all day!
