I am trying to deregister a phone I have never had listed on my account, I says it is sending a code, where to, I am not receiving anything ?

Apple generally sends a verification code to a "trusted" device (often a phone) that is listed in your Apple ID account.

You may have an option to "resend".

In some situations a code may be sent by eMail:
