cycle count 80


is that normal? while other laptop with same age, the same specifications and similar cycle number is 98% battery cap.

Apple has mentioned battery cycle limit for MacBook Air and it is 1000 after that it tends to decrease in battery capacity. Here you have now 90% battery capacity so it depend on your way of using it . Here's a link that will help you

1000 is not a limit, it's Apple's benchmark for the expected usual and customary life of a battery. The 1000 can be exceeded with no ill effects as it's just a count of 100% charge cycles. If the battery is still functioning as expected at 1000 cycles, still takes a charge and still has remaining capacity above 80% you can continue safely using the battery.
