Unable to switch back from iPad passcode to notes password
I’m Following directions to reset password to notes, and quit using iPad passcode. Yet attempts to lock a note continues to set using iPad passcode

I believe you’re saying the following:
- You have created some notes that are locked using your iPad passcode.
- You want to reset the protection on these notes to now use a password instead of that iPad passcode.
- You said “I’m following directions” … however …
I don’t see any such directions in the article linked above! I don’t know that this is possible. Would you please tell us what directions you are specifically using? I do see directions to go the other way - from the Notes password to a passcode.
