Why no quarterly repeat on calendar?

How do I set an event for monthly meeting… - Apple Community

Use answer from above link but change the month to 3 (for quarterly). The bubble will not be filled in for the month but it still works. (See end results in next photo)

Calendar repeat daily reminder glitch I created an event today to be repeated daily. Made it as an ALL DAY event. Repeat daily. With End date in a couple of months. It created the event on the 1st day, and on the 2nd day the event appears twice. On the 3rd day the event appears 3 times.
