Apple Card, family sharing, Apple cash

If I share my Apple card with a family member, who does not have an open line of credit with Apple card - and when they use the card, why does daily cash sweep to their Apple Cash card instead of my savings set up with my Apple Card? Something doesn’t seem right about that.
