How do I paste data into a Numbers spreadsheet without also pasting in the style of the text?

I want to know how to be able to paste information into a Numbers spreadsheet without also pasting in the styling of the text such as font, text colour, background colour, etc.

Thanks.

Try using Edit > Paste and Match Style.

There is a keyboard shortcut for that (listed in the menu if you forget it): option-shift-command-v.
