Macbook Pro OS 26.2... Pages 15.1. Numbers 14.5. Can copy text only from Numbers Cell. Cannot paste directly into Pages. I can double Click the cell in Numbers to highlight text only not a text box then paste in a text editor. Copy that text and paste into Pages 15.1... but what a pain. I cannot paste text directly from numbers into Pages.
OK... I downloaded the newest Numbers App. 15.1...This works. So I opened my spreadsheet from the old Numbers app 14.5 in the New Numbers app 15.1. By double clicking a cell the text is highlighted. I did command C to copy and then went to the new 15.1 Pages App and WAS able to paste it with command V. Works fine. However, I am not able to copy and paste from Numbers 14.5 to Pages 15.1. Hope this helps.

Quick follow-up. Downloaded Numbers 15.1 and 'copy&paste' worked. (copying columns from a Numbers doc to a Pages doc)
I just experienced the same issue. I didn't delete Pages 14.5 so I'm back to using that version.
I'm going to try to update the Numbers app to see if that will work. I have Numbers 14.5.
OK, this sounds good. Weird that I got a message about the new Pages 15.1 but not about the new Numbers 15.1.
